"Very friendly staff and helpful manager. Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing. Room (deluxe) very large and provided extra bed for kids. Short 10 min walk to galle fort. "We had the best time at Serendipity Lake house. Chathuranga was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It’s so peaceful and relaxing, and the food is delicious. It’s very clean and well kept, oh and the boat trip around the lake and kayaking are a must! Thank you for making our time with you so special 🙏 "

"This hotel is a big con / rip off. THERE IS NO ROAD TO THIS PROPERTY. Must cross the jungle for 1/2 kilometers Don’t pick unless u have a Motorcross bike. "We had a wonderful stay at Villa Golden, stayed the whole of in February 2025, hence returning next year (2026). Susantha (House Manager) is a credit to the business, welcoming, professional, very helpful and great with the arrangement of tours and travelling.
