"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fittings and decor are a bit dated but the bed was really comfortable and the linen and towels were lovely. I would suggest getting a room nearer the back of the hotel, we were on the front and it was rather noisy from the pub next door. Although the parking may seem a little complicated it's good value for being in the town and we extended the next morning at a better rate than if we had moved it. "we have stayed here regularly but seems to be under new management-didnt expect breakfast to be an extra and room was clean but a bit dingy -headboard had a tear and paint work needed re doing in some areas-plus they did not have all the decorations they used to have which made the place standout-also after we checked in, on late night return to our room car park was full so had to park in residential road nearby-so will probably lookelsewhere now for our repeat visits to family"
