"The staff on reception were very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good. Tram stop just outside hotel. The only downside was one lift was out of order so there was long waits for the Lift, especially on the morning of check out."

"Room was small and basic but sufficient, so worked well for me on a budget. The rooms don't come with kettles but you can ask the staff for one, so I did. Communal kitchenette was useful, and the Norwegian cafe "Spor Av Nord" downstairs was lovely. The thermostat in my bathroom was set too hot, apparently I could have adjusted it but I didn't realise."

"A little out of town however highly recommend buying the Oslo card if visiting this beautiful city. Free public transport and entry into loads of attractions and also discount at a selection of restaurants. If happy to be a little bit out of town I recommend this hotel"

"Very well located for all of the main Oslo attractions, walking distance from the train station and with a tram stop outside. This is a hotel steeped in history, having been owned and operated by the same organisation for over 100 years, a book in each room describes the journey that the hotel has taken to get to today.
