"This is our second visit to Athens and Hotel Plaka. The hotel is located very close to the central square, tons of shopping, eateries, and Parthenon. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop bar and a new restaurant with a fantastic view of the Acropolis and Parthenon. The staff are friendly and extremely welcoming. "This hotel was the one recommended by the organisers of the World Alliance for Arts Education Summit, October 17-19, 2024. The location worked for the conference. There was a convenient nearby Metro. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were filling and consistent. The on site cafe provided excellent food and service. The area surrounding had a variety of possibilities for food. The Martini Bakery was an excellent find. Overall I was satisfied with this option. "
