"It is both a location and a beautiful spot. Not too costly, either. Everyone was really nice. Old bathrooms were the only thing we disliked, particularly a bathtub that appeared to be from ancient times. It was not something I wanted to walk barefoot in. Fortunately, whenever my daughter and I go somewhere, we always bring shower shoes. Also, To improve the room's appearance, the glass on the windows and balcony door should be replaced."

"We enjoyed 2 days at this lovely, vintage, lodge. If you like history, antiques, and God's beautiful creation, LOOK no more - THIS is where you want to be. There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!"

"We went here for a long weekend stay and the place was everything as described and more! The pictures don't do justice. The house is huge and lots of space and beds for everyone! We were 22 of us and EACH one of us had a comfortable bed to sleep on. And there are enough well equipped bathrooms to accommodate a lot of people. The kitchen is big for the family and well equipped with the required utensils if you plan to cook. 2 huge fridges in the kitchen and one in the pool room is a huge...

"The Garden room had very comfortable bed and pillows, and nice towels, a TV and small Fridge. View of river, with deck was nice. The building is old...older than it looks in pictures. Some of the furnishing in room looked pretty garage sale like. Room is small. Toilet is small and low. 2 sinks were nice, and standup shower, no bath. One thing that bothered me is that there was no sheet to protect touch from quilt. "

"I checked in and there was white crusted substance right on the comforter top, along with other places on the comforter. The pillowcase had washed out blood and other liquids stained on the corner. I had to sweep the place when I got there, and so many other things (don’t expect to eat without washing all pots and pans they are covered in sawdust from no working drawer). I took off all bedding and slept on towels. I contacted the contact given and was able to leave property however no refund...
