"Clean, modern room and the hotel was really quiet at night. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the shower gel was running very low and not filled up and only two hangers in the wardrobe which was not enough for our five night stay. Location was ok, not many eating places next to the hotel but only a short walk to the train station where there were great transport links and places to eat. Around 15 minutes to walk to the centre of Basel...

"We really enjoyed our stay - located very close to the train station (where the airport bus also stops), and old town so super convenient. Very quiet despite being close to a road. Super friendly and helpful reception (providing maps of the city, Basel card, tips for getting around the city easily and onwards travel) and a very clean and comfortable stay for a good price. I would stay here again for sure"

"Very good stay with very friendly and professional staff and great breakfast. Fantastic location in the historic center. We requested extra duvets as the 2 single ones given were not sufficient, especially in January which the staff gave us without a problem. There is only one liquid soap in the shower which you need to grab to wash hands. Didn’t see any recycling bins but maybe the system is different in Basel. Would return as it’s a great place to stay in this city. "

"This probably the nicest 3-star hotel in which I’ve ever stayed. The room was clean, pleasant and spacious. The staff was lovely, and the restaurant has an excellent menu, wine card, food & service. I highly recommend!"

"Quirky place high up in the mountains. Beautiful setting. Great breakfast and good sizes rooms, however the walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbours at all hours. We didn’t get much of a lie in! Our shower was luke warm and not very powerful. "

"Comfortable stay"

"- right next to a tram spot - super clean rooms and nice bathroom - all staff we dealt with were wonderful - free mini bar! (One beer, two cokes, two waters) Only downfall was the room was SO hot! It was 0 degrees mostly when we were there but had to sleep with the door open as it was too hot / stuffy. Otherwise, I really recommend and thank all of the staff! :)"

"Great choice in the area to explore both sides of the border. It is much cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland. A ten minute walk to the Rheinfelden train station on the Swiss side where you can access all of Switzerland. Breakfast is very good, room is up to date and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Elevator is tiny! Several grocery stores nearby. Would like it better if the room to had a fridge. I've stayed here twice and would happily do so again."
