"I stayed at the Laguna as it's my go to hotel when in Poole/Bournemouth. The hotel is clean but not the cleanest, staff are friendly happy and helpful. The hotel is located close to Bournemouth centre, an easy 10 minutes stroll through the pleasure gardens will get you to town centre bars restaurant, shops etc and the beach is just a few minutes further walking. Free parking at the hotel is a big plus and on cloudy or rainy days the hotels own indoor pool is a massive bonus if you have children...

River Avon at Hale The Avon Valley Path does not often get close to the river along this section. It stays to the east here, but gets close enough to this bridge to warrant 20 metre detour to look. The river is starting to get to its meandering lower section with a wide bend here in front of those trees.
