"We stay here often to visit my wife's mother in Westbourne. Every one is very friendly. The bar is very reasonably priced. Beds comfy and their prices are very reasonable. It's not 5 star but when you only need a bed for the night it's perfect. Yes the hotels a bit tired in places. If you want to pay twice the amount go 5 star but here is good."

"A good budget hotel for visiting Southampton. A 10 minute walk (through the rail station) to the Mayflower Theatre and into the city centre. Comfortable room and plenty of hotwater for shower/bath. "

"The staff were all excellent from reception to bar staff to gym. Car parking at the weekend is so easy. Room was fine. Great Value for money."

"Was a bit disappointed. We had wasted an hour trying to tune the tv in. Phoned reception and she talked us through what to do. Still didnt work. Spoke to receptionist and explained the problem, we said the batteries were flat in the remote. One of the staff went to our room to sort out the tv. We had gone out. The tv had been left on so at least we could watch it on our return. In the morning, switched it on, same problem, batteries needed changing as remote didnt work properly. My...
