"Friendly staff on front desk willing to accommodate our requests, room clean but basic is an understatement, I know it is a budget hotel but at least heating (we had a tiny oil radiator in the room that didn’t heat it) luckily we had blankets in the car!! And no kettle or tea and coffee in the room had to pay extra at the desk when checking in"

"Location was excellent, we walked to Rimjhim Indian restaurant for dinner - 2 mins away - lovely meal. Hotel right in the centre surrounded by shops. Entrance to hotel off the main road, quiet. There is parking which is very handy, just note the entrance is a bit narrow, just be careful. One night stay, bed very comfortable, would visit again"

"Our room was situated on the upper floor, there’s a side entrance to the rooms right next to the pub restaurant. The room was lovely and cosy, towels were neatly rolled and placed on the bed for guests to use. Shampoo and shower gel were all provided. Breakfast was also included in our stay as well. "Perfect stay, thank you. Easy to find, simple free parking right by, quick easy check in process, lovely spacious room, great layout for families, having a fridge is amazing help, fantastic breakfast that included a great range so catered easily for all of us as there was something everyone could enjoy - especially the fresh fruit. Big bonus points for it all being vegetarian too. So quiet and tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the town. Extra points for the cat providing warm cuddles....

"It was terrible!!! Can’t contact anyone to get the key!!!They are not organized !!! Even finally have someone answer the phone and give me the lock box number and that was no key inside!!! We waited two hours have no one call us back !!! At the end we go to another Inn to stay!!! We need our MONEY BACK "

"Unable to check in at 3 as required. Messed around for over an hour. Given the code for my room and it was already taken. Mine was a large room with a double bed. I was given a substitute small room with single bed that squeaked everytime you moved. Stuff on the side for hot drinks but no kettle or mug. An utter shambles of a place in poor condition "

"The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. "The woman managing the place was very kind and helpful. She gave us tips for walking around the area and finding restaurants. When we had a little trouble with transportation for our cruise, she contacted a local taxi company who was there in 5 minutes. It made our day much less stressful. Thank you very much! "
