"The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful. Very good sized room and king sized bed. However, it's all in need of modernisation, so some things (e.g. lights) are dated and not all working properly. Apparently this is being done soon. I was not told that there would be a banging disco downstairs on the Saturday night, which went on until a little after midnight. The walls are THIN ... I heard a lot of noise from the adjacent room, even down to the clicking of their light switches and...

"Visiting family before new year. Lovely single room with small en-suite but perfect for me. Everything I needed was available but in the kitchen, required more utensils for cooking. I got takeaway and used what I could, no problem with bowls/plates and kitchen appliances. Great spacious clean kitchen. Lovely place to stay, recommend. "

"Do-it--yourself hotel (passcode to all areas) Excellent room and shower. Very clean, modern and well laid out. Free continental breakfast a bonus. Central location close to several restaurants.. No parking at accommodation but reasonably priced car park a short stroll away (£1.60 overnight). Do not leave your car outside for long (parking attendant materialises from nowhere)."

"The bar and restaurant are great and the food is exceptional, one of the best meals I have had! I stayed in Room 15, which I have stayed in before, which is a bit on the small side and could do with a tea making table instead of having to use the bedside table. The worst issue is that on both occasions', the room has a strong smell of "drains/damp" Whilst I would happily stay here again, I would not stay in this room again"
