"Pros: Very helpful staff, excellent breakfast, easy parking, good location, lucky to find any accommodation at all as it was the last room available on the island. Cons: We apparently booked a "budget room" although we paid 300 Euros for 2 nights. Toilet and showers were across the corridor and not private. The room was terribly hot and noisy in the morning when early birds packed their cars. "

"Fabulous hotel in Den Burg. Friendly, helpful staff. Great room with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast included in the rate. I also had lunch( toastie) and dinner( Texel asparagus) and all were great and large servings. Wish I could have stayed longer."

"Het is een net hotel met een eigen opgang naar boven, wel jammer dat er geen lift is. Maar mijn koffer werd netjes naar boven gebracht. Wel heel gehorig en aan de straat kant liggen is ook niet heel fijn. Verder als ik wat nodig had kreeg ik het meteen. Service was goed "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Forest Hotel. We loved the theme and the attention to detail. It was central for the train station and town centre. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was of good variety and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would come back. "
