"We have stayed here before and enjoyed it the only problem was that they put a set menu on at the night which was £45 pp which we thought was overpriced because it was a small menu with limited offers and not worth the money "

"Our room had recently been refurbished and may also have been an upgrade (ask for room numbers 10-16). Facilities and decor were excellent, with a walk-in shower, comfortable bed and free parking. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the restaurant was very busy. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was of a good standard. Staff were friendly and professional so we would have no hesitation in recommending the Royal Hotel."

"Better than staying at one of the hotel chains. Had a mini kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, cutleries, mugs and dish soap, which is handy for meals. Facilities are neat and well kept. Big bed for 2 people also. Had netflix on tv also. Really loved our stay. "
