"We loved our stay, our room had a stunning view, we were lucky to see the most beautiful sunrise and sunset colours over the hills and sea from our window. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly and welcoming for dogs which was a huge plus for us. "This is a really nice old fashioned pub style accomodation but has a really good chef and therefore very good food. Slightly above the average price but well worth it. However there are other local options for dining. The room overlooked the bay and you could see surfers in the distance along with the small harbour. The famous Lynton to Lynmouth railway is just round the corner and well worth a trip for the spectacular views. Will definitely go back at some point."

"Don’t let the colour of outside put you off inside is like a 5 star hotel from the moment you walk through the door every thing has been redecorated to the highest standard and quality we have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is one of the best ever . The owner and all staff were so helpful and obliging and I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to anyone "

"Great, short stay at The Quay. Room was cosy and had all we needed, plus a sea view. It was clean, quiet and we had a great night sleep. Owners/staff were very polite on arrival, breakfast (which was delicious) and departure. Good location within a very short walk from the high street, bars etc but far enough away to be quiet.
