"Delightful stay in a truly unique setting. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was amazing, hostess and host were helpful, and the animals are the stars of the show. Only slight negative was it’s about 15 minutes into Salida, so it is not in the middle or town. "

"We loved our weekend at Fox Den, which has the best mountain views. We didn't see any wildlife, but they are said to have bobcat, deer, elk, turkey, and even a moose family in the area! We'll just have to go back again to see the animals ;) The house is amazing and the area/property is very quiet - just what we were looking for. It's ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing getaway. We can't recommend this destination enough!!! "

"The place was very clean and well stocked. We felt right at home and had a very comfortable stay. The location is close to downtown and all other area attractions. The bed was comfortable. I would recommend a clock or alarm in the bedroom but I would say this is one of the better places we have stayed and we travel a lot.
