"There were some minor property issues, but they were not even close to a deal breaker. The House was clean and bright and had everything we needed. My family had a wonderful time. I enjoyed being back in the Heart of the Rockies and in the heart of downtown. I was a geology student in Salida in the mid-90s, and it was great to see that this town is still strong. I loved seeing some of the same places I frequented are still around."

"Our family of four stayed here in early January for a ski trip to Monarch. The small house is as advertised, and worked well for us. It is clean, thoughtfully outfitted, and comfortable. Parking is easy, and it was nice to be able to walk to the downtown businesses and to a small park and playground by the river. The owner was friendly and helpful. "

"We had the best time here. Skied in Breckenridge day one and monarch on day two. Day three was the train ride in leadville. Skiing was great and the train ride was so fun. The loft was perfect. Right in downtown and we could walk to great restaurants in town. All the cute shops are great and everyone is so friendly. Our last night was new years eve and the city had a block party and it was rocking! What a great place to spend with someone you love. Happy new year!"

"I have stayed here a few times because the price is right and the location is terrific. There is little seating and the main piece of furniture, the sofa, is absolutely terrible. It converts into a bunk bed and doesn’t do any of its functions well. Most importantly it is very hard and very uncomfortable. We tried to make due with extra pillows but the sofa simply needs to be replaced. The bed is also very hard. Some may like that. I woke up with a sore back every morning. The kitchen is perfect...
