Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "Although I didn't ultimately stay at Hazelbrook, I would like to commend the manager, Graham, for his professionalism & resilience, in twice finding alternative accommodation when it proved not to be possible for me to stay there, then understanding when my own plans changed at the last moment. "What a terrific stay at the Coach House. The grounds are beautiful, the room spacious and comfortable, and the host is completely charming. I wish we had booked a few more nights there. It's just far enough out of the city to be quiet and tranquil. Breakfast was delicious and filling and I must admit they had the best eggs we had on the trip. I don't know how Des made it happen but a herd of cows were our wake up 'call'. It doesn't get any better than that."
