Enjoy nearby tracks n trails from your doorstep over the comeragh mountains or in nearby colligan woods (just 2kms away) or surf the waves and have a refreshing sea swim in nearby Clonea beach (8kms away). Located just 20 minutes drive from clonmel and youghal / 40 minutes from Waterford and one hour from cork airport, this pretty cottage in Cúl na Sméar is the perfect tranquil getaway. Comfortable accommodation with a warm welcome to facilitate upto 4 guests with solid fuel stove, oil fired central heating and a gorgeous outdoor decking area for your evening drinks or alfresco bbq. This is a beautiful property located out of town in an area full of birdsong - a delightful, restful location, with walks on the doorstep and beaches, towns, great shops and restaurants and local history only a short drive away.

Lovely area, small but clean house
Mary is a sweet person and the area is lovely. The shower was difficult to maintain and even temperature and the drain was misplaced causing water to go into the main bathroom. The rooms are very small, beds shoved up against the wall making it difficult to get out without waking your partner.

In a very quiet location in the foothills. Lots of wildlife around. Easy access to local town and great walks from the doorstep. Would definitely return.

Super schoon en mooi huisje met vele extra’s
Wij hebben enorm genoten van dit huisje. Het is niet groot, maar heeft alle voorzieningen en is super schoon (wat ik heel fijn vind). Vooral de kleine extra details vond ik leuk, overal was aan gedacht; shampoo, douchecel, maandverband, extra toiletpapier, theezakjes, doosjes ontbijtgranen. Wij voelden ons heel welkom hierdoor.

Mountain retreat
Lovely mountain location away from the tourist trail, with easy access to everything. Cottage was clean and fresh with all amenities needed. Would highly recommend a stay here
