"Fantastic hotel in a very peaceful setting with great views of Ludlow castle and the gorgeous countryside. Had a beautiful room with views of the castle. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the dining room with beautiful countryside views. Ludlow town is within easy reach on foot, crossing over the river before climbing the hill alongside the castle. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel."

"Very welcoming as soon as we arrived. Free snacks on the bar. Room lovely and clean and great little private courtyard to sit in. I'd call this place a hidden gem. The beautiful weather and tractor show were an added bonus."

"Spent a pleasant night with my wife at The Talbot Hotel and we were well looked after by Craig and his colleagues. The hotel dates back to the 1600s and is very atmospheric and full of history. Although no evening meal was available the full English breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would stay again."
