"We only stayed for one night but it was really nice from the moment we walked in, With a helpful receptionist The room was a great size and bathroom was as well, very clean and well looked after. The breakfast was nice with good selection of hot and cold items. We used the swimming pool and the water was nice and warm and a nice padded floor in the pool and good shallow end for little ones, and also towels were provided by the reception of the pool area. "

"One of the things which makes Britain great is a traditional hotel steeped in history where everywhere you go you’ve a sense of the past and the people who’ve moved through the space and used its facilities before you. Vicky and George were fantastic hosts. We had the best time staying here this weekend. The food was terrific. The cooked breakfast was so tasty and served in a charming dining salon. "We were welcomed by zoe on reception who was friendly and engaging. Quicky given our room key and went to our room. The decor is a little dated but the room was spacious and warm. The bed was huge and comfy so what more could you ask for. We had breakfast which was buffet style and eat as much as you wanted. The best thing about this hotel has to be the view over Chesil beach which is amazing. We would have no hesitation staying again. "
