We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. "Lovely greeting. Husband and wife run hotel. Beautifully clean. Probably the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in so far. Beautiful location. Amply parking. Breakfast has good options but nothing hot apart from toast. Still very tasty. We drove down to the local town. Plenty of restaurants etc. Pool and terrace over looking beautiful views. We recommend. "The hotel is listed as being in Sorano. It is not located there. It is located in the village of Sovano, about 10 miles away. We finally found someone that spoke a little English that knew about the hotel but it was in a different village! When we arrived the hotel was closed and appeared to have been closed for a long time. Fortunately, we met someone that took us to another hotel in the same village."
