Walking distance (15 minutes) from train station and less than 10 minutes to most things you want to see. Cappuccino & big croissant was a nice touch for breakfast. And they let me have it early before my train. Perfect for my 2 night stay. "

"DO NOT BOOK this hotel if you intend to use public transport. There are vast amounts of roadworks in the area surrounding the hotel. The nearest bus stop is 20 minutes walk away (and we walk quite quickly!) The walk walk wasn't safe either, as we had to walk on the road in part. Also, on return at night we had to walk on a long path, through a dimly iit park. On check in, the receptionist flippantly advised that we should use taxis (we didnt budget for this added expense!) "Albergo Atlantic is close to the railway station and a short walk to many of the attractions in Bologna. Good restaurants are a 5 minute walk. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They stored my cheese in the refrigerator overnight so I could take it on my flight. The rooms were clean and there wasn’t much noise from the hallway. I would definitely stay again."

"The hotel is a ways out from the historic center, but the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Coming back, the bus doesn't return from the same location. The tourist office will tell you where. The staff was very kind and helpful. There is private parking behind the hotel. Would stay there again."
