"Property was conveniently 6km outside of Bologna with gate for security. We had a rental car so that was reassuring. This B&B is located on a busy road so traffic is loud very early in the morning. Pool & outdoor seating area was not maintained and rather dirty- we booked this property because of warm weather and it had a pool .. pictures in the listing looked nice , but in person was not as represented. "totally overrated the rooms are small and simple and the location difficult to find. The description is inaccurate as there are no minibars in the rooms. The parking forecourt is covered with small stones so that one has to lift and carry the suitcase until the lobby as it is not possible to roll it. I will give it two stars."

"Residenza Ariosto is an excellent place to stay in Bologna. The apartment is not luxurious but is clean ,comfortable and has everything you need. The apartments in via Marsala are in a great position to explore and enjoy Bologna. Instructions for check in are clear. This is our second stay and we highly recommend."

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "
