"Great little hotel with some exceptional staff working there, stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every night of it, the food was fantastic and very well priced, the full breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day off, some parts of the hotel could do with a little touch up and it needs more lighting on approach from the front but otherwise one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you for that great experience. "

"Very friendly staff, we were able to drop our bag off a few hours before check in and when we returned check in was very straightforward forward and we were asked to complete our choice for breakfast for the following morning which I think is a great idea. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was lovely and clean too. "Stopped on the way too and from Edinburgh Airport over a 2 week period. Two different rooms both excellent. Very clean. Hreat breakfast and friendly staff. Ideal for staying near Edinburgh with Airport about 20 minutes away and park and ride/tram station. I travel for work and plan to keep using this gem."

"Brilliant, even an enjoyable bath, beds and pillows so good after a 7 hrs trip here, everyone friendly and helpful. Welcome break supper, Chinese or burgers just ok but breakfasts great."

"The one word for this hotel is “impeccable “. The facilities are great and the food is excellent. None of the usual tepid buffet here! Everything is freshly cooked. Ten out of ten for everything. This is the first time I have ever given such a good review, and they deserve it."

Shower was strange in that there didn't appear to be a way to change the bath taps to the shower setting - or at least it wasn't very intuitive. Not the sort of thing you want to find with limited time in the morning!"
