"Staff extremely helpful under tricky conditions. With storm we had no electricity from 8am on 24th and still not connected this morning when I left. Staff put on a log stove in Bistro,managed to do teas n coffees on small gas heater, supplied good battery lamps for each resident, Manager even carefully drove in evening into part of Lanark with power and brought back a meal for an older person staying for BnB, She would not take money for that. "We stayed here a few nights to visit Edinburgh in festival month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; but the standard is disappointing by today's standards. A dog seemed to have stayed in the room before us (she takes pets) which needed more thorough airing and cleaning. The room had a slightly tired feeling. The setting is lovely and it is handy for Edinburgh - 30 mins by car and a good train service from nearby Linlithgow."

"The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me.
