"Front desk staff were very nice and this was a great stay for what I needed, an overnight rest on a long drive. Orvieto looks to be an ancient walled Roman acropolis and also worth exploring. I would stay at this property again."

"If you're looking for quiet and seclusion, this is a great spot. The indoor thermal pool was nice for a half hour or so soak. We had a car and had just come from Sorano and Sovana...would highly recommend both towns. I think there was a walking trail near the hotel, but it was rainy so we decided to drive 45 minutes to Saturnia to the public thermal cascade...fabulous (and free)!!!. We decided to have dinner at a lovely restaurant half way between Saturnia and the hotel, as it seemed too...

"We were one of two American couples staying here. Someone asked how we found this gem! It is a quiet place overlooking some of Tuscany. The room wasn't as pictured that we got, but I would guess some rooms look this way. Was still nice and had a small balcony to enjoy the beautiful view. What brought us here was the Saturnia Thermal Springs which is just 10 minutes or so away. The springs are free to the public and magnificent!! There is paid public parking about a 5-10 min walk away and...

"The hotel is listed as being in Sorano. It is not located there. It is located in the village of Sovano, about 10 miles away. We finally found someone that spoke a little English that knew about the hotel but it was in a different village! When we arrived the hotel was closed and appeared to have been closed for a long time. Fortunately, we met someone that took us to another hotel in the same village."

"We enjoyed our two over night stays in the hotel. We were especially surprised to notice that the owner speaks German perfectly. Quite unusual in Italy, where you sometimes lack someone who speaks and understands English. Breakfast buffet was nicely presented and with good selection of food."
