"We used this hotel while walking the nearby Kennet & Avon Canal path. Friendly welcome. The room was spacious; the bed amazingly comfortable. Despite facing a main road, there was no road noise whatsoever due to the efficient triple glazing. A fridge would have been handy, but not a biggie. Room and bathroom very clean. Evening dinner and breakfast very good - tasty and fairly priced. Overall excellent value and would happily recommend and would use again if in the area."

That said a one night stay in a standard room with breakfast and ample free parking, a 5 minute stroll to the river gives good value for just under £100. Additionally we added an evening meal and the food was good with a decent wine list. "
