"Very well-appointed accommodation; immaculately clean and comfortable for 4 persons especially family or couples. The bathroom with the tub, unfortunately, did not have a shower curtain or any way water could be prevented from splashing on the floor which created a compulsory cleaning up of the too much water on the floor after bathing. I thougt it was an oversight but it created unintended inconvenience, besides making the foot/floor bathroom towel too wet too soon. This should be an easy fix...

"My colleague and I stayed here during a 4 day conference in Oxford. It was so nice to have a tranquil retreat to return to every day. We made full use of the kitchen which was well equipped. If you want a hotel-like place do not stay here. For us, it was perfect--a short walk from Oxford city centre, quiet, and backed up to a lovely creek and fields. (Of note... the seat cushions of the couch were constantly sliding off toward the floor. It was old but covered in a nice and clean blanket.)"

"I would say overall that the property is okay or average. For two adults, both of whom are between six feet tall and over, it felt a little cramped. The cleanliness is average due to the fact that some of dressers and tables were a little rickety or had stains on them when we came in. No bugs of any kind, however, which was great. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen utensils for cooking, however there was no cookie or baking sheet so you'd have to use tin foil or buy a cooking pan....

"Great position in Newbury, very close to the main shopping street. Parking nearby was cheaper than onsite so we used that. Entry was easy with good instructions. It was very warm inside, we had to open the windows and turn off the heating. Nice and quiet in the building, we hardly saw or heard anyone else. Everything you needed for a short break was supplied. "My husband, myself and two adult children stayed in the flat for 6 days. It was very comfortable and well equipped for our needs. It’s also surprisingly quiet but convenient to groceries and all the pubs and dining you could possibly want. The host checked in via vrbo app to make sure we were ok. We didn’t see many tourists in Jericho, mostly locals. Go to Port Meadow it’s very close and eat pizza at the Rickety Press pub next door. "

"This was the perfect size and location for our short stay in Oxford. There is a bus stop directly outside of your door and it takes you right into town.
