I go to the Royal Exeter once a month and I feel as if I am returning home each time: from the lovely personal welcome from the reception staff, the comfort of the bed and the linen quality (far superior to some higher rated hotels locally) and the fab breakfast. The super secure parking is another bonus. Can’t wait to be back!"

"Comfortable room,very spacious, clean, everything worked fine. Staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel just outside town centre so fairly quiet but an easy walk in , ample local buses just outside to explore further. Excellent breakfasts.Great value"

"The staff attention was outstanding. The hotel is outdated. It needs a refurbishment. The bedroom carpets are mouldy as are the other carpets. The cleaners do a good a very good job, however this does not compensate for the circumstances of the outdated rooms. The public areas are generally well kept. "
