"Great hotel for family to use as home base for land based Galapagos visit. The rooms are very clean and modern - comfortable beds and cleaning service each day. Breakfast is provided and made fresh everyday which is nice if you are heading out on your. Pool area is very well maintained and a nice amenity from the heat of the islands! Staff very prompt and helpful. It is a bit far from town and restaurants - not really walkable due to hills and heat) but taxis are very affordable ($2 each...

Lourdes arranged for taxis to and from Capitan Max, plus excursions. It's like concierge service. The room was comfortable, cool and large. Excellent plumbing. Healthy breakfast buffet with eggs and fruit served early and consistently. All this at a reasonable price. It's a no brainer."
