"I stayed here for one night before catching a flight to another island. At €100 per night – the most expensive rate I’ve paid on Cape Verde – it was a huge disappointment. As a Gold Member on Expedia, I was promised a bottle of sparkling wine, which was missing. Instead, my room came with a cockroach (photo attached). Maybe it drank the wine for me. The air conditioning didn’t work, the shower drain was clogged, and mosquitoes thrived in the stagnant water. Housekeeping seemed questionable too...

My husband come down with flu and asked at reception if they had any medicine and the answer was “ no “ and end of, not an alternative offered or even indicating the nearest pharmacy. "The melia resort is amazing, but the apartment is privately owned which lived up to this resorts standard. The apartment was spacious and had every amenity that was needed, along with a lovely welcome pack of essentials. It is situated in a great location, with the sun starting early on the left hand side of the balcony moving over to the right hand side, so sun for the full day. Definitely a place i will be coming back too. "

"We were met at the airport and taken to our apartment. Really nice and airy, nicely decorated with good shower and comfortable bed and all the things you need to self cater. "JC ist ein super netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber und die Apartments sind modern und liebevoll eingerichtet.
