"The sat nav directions took us to a field a couple of.mikes away from the property, called thenumber, took a few tries to get an answer, then due to misunderstanding, was given dirctions for coming in the opposite direction that we were.heading, took a few phone calls and a few wrong turns till we got there. The lady on arrival was really helpful. Had choice of 2 cabins. Lovely, vlean and huge bed. Take.mosquito spay though as right next to the water. The view was amazing of the pond....

"Location was OK, but not as pictured. Hotels.com scammed us. When we arrived the owner had not been told to expect us. He did not have availability for the length of stay we paid Hotels.com for, nor had he received notice of funds paid online. We had to pay cash for one night and then leave in the morning to find other accommodations because he was sold out for the remaining nights. Hotels.com has to refund the money I sent to them."

Guests should know that the amenities are under repair and upgrade. Having said that, having your own private beach where you can go skinny dipping if you want, is amazing. "We had a delightful stay at this property. Its prime location right by the water is enhanced by beautifully maintained grounds. The exceptional cleanliness and brand-new mattresses added greatly to our comfort. There are several dogs on the property, all remarkably well-behaved. It took two days for the dogs to warm up to me as I tried to pet them, so concerns raised in previous reviews about a dog on a chain seem unfounded.
