"Nice hotel just off the main avenue, but in a bit of a off the beaten path. There are a few sketchy people around but it's very convenient to independence square, Palacio Salvo and old Montevideo. The restaurant recommendations made by the hotel were excellent. I've stayed here before and one thing worth mentioning is the wide swing in pricing, as cheap as $60 per night and sometimes over $100..."

"The no-smoking rooms smell extremely strongly of smoke. There is no escaping it. All the carpets in the public areas need replacing due to staining. The entire hotel needs a major refurb. "

"Easy to access the bus station at Tres Cruces. Also the buffet breakfast on the 10th floor was good. Very comfortable hotel and the staff speaks English."
