"We arrived later than normal, but it was no trouble; we were shown to our room as though it was perfectly ordinary. Room was lovely - warm and spacious with a most comfortable bed. Everything you could wish for was supplied. Only possible downside was the rather transparent blinds and curtains - which could be a problem in the summer. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with a selection of cereals to start, all served by delightful and attentive staff. Thank you; we will be back!"

"Lovely weekend stay. Its a lovely old building but very clean. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was amazing. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant which was good. Had a good nights sleep as the bed was very comfortable. It would have been useful to have a plug nearer a mirror for drying hair!"

"The Sugarbeat B&B is a great home from home, staff, food and service is top notch! Our room ‘Manilow’ was ok but noisy in the morning from 0700 with extractor fans for kitchens, plus doesn’t go off until 1100. The room low roof made it very difficult to relax, plus only one chair to watch tv or have a coffee in room. Cleanliness could be a little bit better with some stains and marks on furniture. Overall an excellent place and have booked again for April."
