"Most hotels in Luang Prabang are in the old French Quarters. Manyo is a 10 minute til-tuk or shuttle ride away. A bit less convenient, but also much quieter. That is what we were looking for, and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They arranged for private transportation to the waterfalls at a competitive price, and provided a free shuttle back to the airport when we left. If we ever returned to Luang Prabang, this is where we would stay."

"The hotel itself is ckean and the staff are friendly and informative. We had booked a double and got two single beds (although this seems to be the norm in Laos from my experience). The toilet seemed to be blocked along the line a bit (I suspect soneone throw toilet paper down) so a few times we had to find a plunger. Aircon struggled in the heat, but the room had strong ceiling fans. I also like the seperate shower and toilet. I'm not sure the pools PH leveks are checked, as after a short swim...

"Loom the manager is awesome. He’ll take great care of your every whim. Only warning is that hundreds of people show up at 5:30 am for the monk procession so if you’re a light sleeper you will be woken. They all move on by 7am . At 8 am the construction workers start on the new river wall. I am sure all the hotels along the river have the same noise. Other than the commotion everything excellent."

"Really nice place to stay in luang prabang walking distance to old town, although it's a 15-20min walk it can be too much in the heat but you can get a tuk tuk there. I had a double room with balcony it was very nice but the only thing was the noise. Room was facing the road so it was very noisy constantly with cars and scooters driving past, if you need a quiet room ask for a room not facing the road. I was moved to ground floor which was nice and quiet. "
