"Friendly welcome and used nearby hotel parking. Managed to get an off duty waiter to carry my bags as no lift. One of the worst ever views from bedroom window of fire escape and the bathroom window faced a concrete wall a couple of feet away, so check with hotel about the situation of room before booking. Unable to get breakfast tea despite asking the waitress - this further spoilt my stay"

"We have stayed at the Craiglynne several times, for us as an outdoorsy family it is an ideal blend of value, comfort and location. Some of the rooms may be a little tired, but they are large, clean, and facilities are good - it really works for us that they are dog friendly too. "It was a great experience. Thoroughly enjoyable. Location, facilities, proximity to Aviemore town centre. Chalet is a bit tired looking internally. It was clean but someone needs to look up and remove cobwebs and dust on light fittings etc. Kitchen really well stocked."
