"This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. "This is a nice, spacious property in a good location in Aviemore and we had a very comfortable stay. The only problem we had was that the property wasn't cleaned for us on arrival and still had dirty bed linen etc from the previous guests. There seemed to have been a miscommunication with the cleaners but after calling Gary, he managed to get it resolved for us asap, which was much appreciated."

"The house is absolutely lovely, and very well stocked. For a family group of 6 from the US, ranging in age from 6 to 80, we had everything we need to cook for a few nights. Great spices, olive oil, vinegar -- even coffee, tea, and a bottle of wine. The stay was delightful, and Nethy Bridge is a darling town!!"

"If you want total peace and quiet then this cottage is a place to stay. Surrounded by fields and hills and mountains made it so beautiful. Unfortunately it was not very warm when we stayed but having a open fire made it feel so cosy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the shop is only a short drive away."

"Love Aviemore so booked the Spey valley lodges. The lodges are starting to look quite run down, especially the outside with peeling paint. The inside is a little dated but was clean enough.
