"Well located and extremely friendly staff. Good quality for money even though the style was overall a bit old fashioned. The restaurant offered good food and was packed as also locals came there to eat. Also the bar was a great place to connect with some locals. Only downside is the noise from the other rooms as walls do not really isolate well. But this is probably due to the age of the building. "

"Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts. They provided tourist information for the surrounding area sites, restaurants and shopping. Our room had everything we would possibly need and was thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was amazing and fuelled our hike up The Old Man of Storr in rain, 50mph winds and sideways hail. Thank you for contributing to our special memories made in Scotland!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for new year's. Self check-in and out was very simple. The staff were really lovely, helpful and down for a chat. The view from our window was magnificent, overlooking the bay. The perfect home base for our explorations on Isle of Skye. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a mini fridge to keep groceries and milk fresh. Although mini fridges seem to be more common in Australian accommodation, as I haven't had one anywhere we have stayed...

"Staying at Gleann an Ronnaich proved one of then highlights of my extended time in Scotland. The extra special touches made such a difference - a face-washer and shaving cream in the bathroom, very comfortable room & lounge area topped off by exquisitely crafted and cooked hot breakfast. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts, and close to town (Portree) too. Highly recommended!"
