"The hotel is in an excellent position, next to Dam Square and is central to all the major attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the a-la-carte breakfast (as we did not wish to pay for the breakfast buffet on booking) in their lovely restaurant downstairs. The only thing that was disappointing is that we were not told of the renovation works that were ongoing. However we would stay here again (but would just check no works were scheduled before booking!) "

"Love the moxy hotel, modern and quirky. Breakfast was not great if you went for the hot option, it wasn't hot. We ordered food from the bar one night too. Chicken salad and a burger. Didn't even know a salad could be bad by it it was! Go out and eat. Or check out the restaurant upstairs maybe. Rooms were always clean, pillows need relooking at. 1 pillow was not enough but 2 was breaking your next. Woke up with either back ache or neck ache all 3 mornings, our whole group did."

"The hotel is very beautiful and the location is good. However, they don’t do daily cleaning of the room due to their sustainability policies, which I agree are important. However, I don’t see how making the bed and emptying the bins is really against their environment. I didn’t event wants my towels or linens changed. One of the reasons I choose hotels instead of Airbnb is because I love how they make the beds and also I want to have a break. I don’t want to wake up on holidays and make my own...

"The LOCATION is in the best corner of the Dam square, which itself is in my opinion the best location in Amsterdam for pedestrians. Across from the 5-star Hotel Krasnapolski, which is excellent in every way. Rho is close to many popular restaurants, bars, canals, with short bridge to the red light district. That said, the rooms are extremely efficient, small, and therefore more noise than a larger hotel. The bed I slept in was one of the most comfortable ever, but just for one."

"I have never experienced such nice and kind hotel staff. Rooms were modern, clean and beautiful. We were able to see the planes landing, coolest view. Breakfast & the coffee was really delicious and the buffet choice was more than enough. The staff always comes to you immediately when you need help. I am really impressed by the hotel & staff and will definitely come back."

"Worth paying extra for a canal view, rooms on the main road would be noisy with fire station opposite. Breakfast was adequate. "
