On the main area there was a strong smell, like garbage and it was there for over a day even though they came to clean the room, no one bothered to empty the trash, the smell was so bad it came into our room. The hotel is in a good area, we felt safe but far from the touristy area and the walk to the train station was long, it was hard to get UBER there so we had to walk several times. "

"This review goes well beyond the 5 stars. While the Hotel was magnificent, the customer service shined even brighter. We arrived in town after a long 6 hour drive through some hard rain. The city had some streets blocked off due to a student parade and it was really difficult to locate the hotel with my GPS. When I called the front desk to get some assistance, they figured out where I was and ran out in the rain to help me finally find the hotel. Things like this is why I love Portugal so...

Great location, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly amazing staff that always go the extra mile to make your stay a special one. Special thanks go to Mr. José Mendez who always makes sure that all guests are having a wonderful time. "This hotel does was it says on the tin. It is definitely a 3 star and I miss the tea/coffee facilities in the room! There are no spare plug sockets to charge electrical items. We were lucky and got given a room on the 4th floor which had a balcony. This hotel is very close to the old part of Braga and so extremely convenient. Breakfast is basic and choice is limited but it is fine to start the day. Parking is very limited however there is a public car park close by and relatively cheap."
