"I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. Instead as the sun went down, we were greeted by a guy with a flashlight which seemed to be telling us he was the night guard and told us to yell his name if we heard anything. "I loved our stay at this resort! It had a beautiful view of the volcano. A lovely beach is right beyond the back gates. The staff was very helpful and always way to find for what ever we needed. I enjoyed the food we had there. It is a very tranquil spot. Our taxi driver had no issues finding the place from the ferry. The cabanas were very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning."

"We had a great stay at Hotel La Omaja! The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful view of the lake and the volcanoes. The rooms were lovely with AC, fans and hot water. It was a little difficult to access as the final stretch is all dirt roads and the driveway is very steep. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!"
