"Overrated, not worth the 9.0 suberb rating. Nice pool, nice location on the beach. Be sure to ask for a room with hot water if that matters, few rooms have hot water. "The family who owns this budget no frills hotel gave us outstanding treatment from beginning to end. Of course on an island there are many insects so we used nets above the beds. The room is simple, without AC but there are several fans which helped cool us off at night. Our breakfast & dinner were delicious between fruits & pancakes (which owner woke up early to prepare at 5am on day of Concepcion Volcano climb), fish & vegetables, chicken with rice & beans.
