"Love the historic building, it is beautiful. The lobby could feel a bit more welcoming. The room was fantastic, very comfortable. Only issue is we would have preferred a double vanity or just more room at the vanity. The shower worked fine but definitely needs an adjustment. The staff who serviced the room did an excellent job - the front desk staff did not give off a welcoming vibe. Overall, would stay again and recommend to anyone."

" Overall, the experience was great. The room was a good value for the cost. Certain amenities, such as the pool, were not available. No big deal as we weren’t planning on using it. There was a shortage of ready breakfast food. Also, there were a number of restrictions that were not made clear prior to check in. The staff does not allow any gatherings. We were there to share Christmas with two family members. That could have been a problem. "

"We only stayed one night but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Breakfast in the morning was very good as well. I didn’t understand the need to hold an extra $100 security deposit on my card at check in but hopefully the hold was released. "

Each under different names as asked by Hotels.com when booking. Half of the party arrived earlier than the other half but we could only get 1 of the rooms as the other person had not arrived yet. I get the reason but after explaning the situation, that it was 1 large family she did nothing. Did not provide any suggestion. I was able...

"I had three reservations for family members at the hotel. I like the hotel very very much. The only small issue was that there was no room service for 3 days. It was supposed to be every second day, but we didn’t have service until almost the end of the trip. And it was fine. It was Christmas. I get it. I just wish they would’ve said something ahead of time."

"Room is built from high quality materials, solid construction. Room was clean...public spaces (elevator, lobby, entry, buffet) all poorly maintained - dirt and gunk buildup in corners, even the employees are rough around the edges...a little gross. Poorly cleaned and maintained buffet during breakfast due to inexperienced and/or poorly trained staff...gross."
