"Very pleasant location and staff . Nice dining at reasonable prices. Good real ales. Our Bedroom 9 requires climbing and descending 39 steps so would not be suitable for some people. The en-suite bathroom was very good."

"Pros. Clean, food good, staff pleasant. Cons. Old building with uneven floors. Reception, bar and dining area’s reasonable, bedrooms on the small size. The hotel basically needs brightening up, e.g new carpets throughout. Bedrooms, please get rid of the dated pine furniture. Could be more inviting, although as stated was clean and enjoyed the food."

"The Priory was a delightful find situated in the Herefordshire countryside about 4 miles from Hereford. We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had pre-arrival including a recommendation for an evening meal at the Bell Inn in Tillington. "

"Clean spacious room in a friendly old pub, in the centre of the town. Staff are warm and accommodating. The shower in our room was clean with plenty of hot water. Large comfortable bed gave us a sound night’s sleep. A great stay at the price we paid and a lovely breakfast. 😊"

"The only room left was a small double but it was perfectly adequate for 2 people for one night. The room is tastefully decorated with a large bathroom with a shower over the bath. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The evening meal was excellent which we took out on the terrace overlooking the river and meadows. "Great location, cosy pub & restaurant, with good food. Evening meal & breakfast good, service a bit slow at breakfast. Very clean & tidy. Room was very noisy on arrival, as chlldren's bouncing castle was situated directly outside the bedroom window. Screaming kids plus the noise of the motor. There was a large & lovely beer garden, so why put the play area adjacent to bedroom block? Quietened-down by 8 30pm. Other than that, very nice place to stay."
