"Our stay at the GW this time was pretty good. The hotel is a great stop on our travels and we look forward to it every time. This time, I opted for the Junior Suite since we had had a stressful trip thus far. The room itself was great, the bed was comfortable and the room service was timely. The fireplace worked great on the cold night. The only part that I was not satisfied with was the shower. The handle was very loose, and I felt like I was going to break it. I hope this gets fixed, because...

The color coordinated hallways and rooms are very neat and well chosen. Thanks much for a memorable fine stay, for western Virginia. Plan to stay again when come fishing this area this coming spring."

"Hotel was great! Clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Only one problem, we had the grandkids with us as this was our yearly holiday weekend together. Unfortunately the pool heater was not working and the pool and pool room was freezing. I got the idea that it may have been down for quite some time.I had some disappointed grandkids. But everything else was great."
