"This was a surprise to me. While marketed as a hostel, they provided impeccable service. The staff were helpful and friendly; and the location is superb. It is directly opposite the Hualien Train Station (you can see the green building from the station, and vice-versa). Saves you the trouble of finding a taxi or alternative transport (which is helpful as it is difficult to get an Uber ride in Hualien). "Great hostel with clean modern facilities, cute common area, excellent location."

"On the same street as Wyndham Sun Moon Lake, but cost 10x less. Good for 1-2nights stay. Clean place with private, lockable cabins, and very near the ITA Thao shopping street and pier. You can walk along the lake to the cable car station and the Nine Frogs Stack 九蛙疊像. Even though the opening hours of some food stores are quite unpredictable, there are plenty of options and two convenience stores around."

"There is no way to beat the value for money proposition in this hostel. However, some minor and inexpensive improvements will make this place an even better choice: put in more hooks & shelving space. This is especially important for ladies as there was no where to our their toiletries. "

"Close to train station with walking distance. Staff was friendly. Standard room not fancy. The shower has no shower curtain. The bathroom were very wet when showers. Be careful the wet floor when you get into the bathroom after someone took shower."
