"We needed to stay somewhere for one night as our previous reservation was messed up by us. This hotel was available and was fine for one night. There were only two small towels and we would have had to pay one euro each for anymore. They also required us to pay in cash. It was a little out of the way but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"It's fine. Cheap place to stay. The noise is the biggest issue. There were dogs barking in reception one morning and no attempt from anyone to quiet them down. On the last night there was someone in a room practicing opera from 10pm til gone midnight. Think they need to remind guests and staff this is a hotel and people are trying to sleep. But as I say it's clean, cheap and staff were friendly."

"The Woodhouse hotel was our base for attending the Bruce Springsteen concert in Monza, which is just a bus and train ride away. "Could not have been happier with our stay. The owner Rocco and team provided excellent customer service. The rooms clean and comfortable. Variety of food at dinner was very good. "The hotel itself was great. It had a retro feel which we loved and the staff were lovely. However, it seemed we couldn’t leave and re-enter after 10pm as we didn’t get a key to the main door. It also felt quite unsafe outside as there were many men hanging around trying to talk to you as you looked for the entrance. The entrance is quite concealed, so would be useful to be given instructions on how to find it. "

"It was a little difficult to find as it's set back from the main road. My Satnav found the right address but after driving round a one-way system several times, I had to leave my car in a nearby carpark then go looking on foot. My room was clean and spacious with a balcony and separate bathroom and toilet. I'd asked for breakfast at 8am as I had a long drive ahead of me. I was about to leave without breakfast when someone arrived a little after 8am to open up. It was hardly worth hanging around...
