"We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. "Most dangerous environment for a family. Cabin was remotely located with no electricity and indoor toilet. Photographs posted do not do justice. I paid in full but after looking in person chose not stay because of safety, security and privacy. Staff was friendly. "

A pond, a waterfall, a fire pit and a cozy cabin, totally private, what more could you ask for? If you have physical limitations, just be aware that you have to walk up a small hill and some stairs from the parking area and the spiral staircase inside may be difficult to navigate for some. "
