"It’s near to Yufuin train station, <10min walking. There is Aeon nearby too. The hotel needs to improve the cleanliness and sound proofing. We are lucky just stay 1 night. Elevator is not available. I will not recommend."

"I love the traditional tatami rooms here. The ‘Bekkan’ is an annex and based in an older building that is charmingly done. It has its own baths, but you have access to the bigger and outdoor baths at the main building a block away. We hadn’t ticked the dinner box when reserving. "Caution to staying here. Pros: almost secluded with nature; very nice storage container changed into a good mobile home stay; self operated. Cons: NO shuttle/taxi/bus services to this lodging. (I even asked the manager/ possibly owner female Japanese woman, if she could give me a ride to the closest bus stop for the airport limousine bus pickup. This stop is at the VERY beginning of the ENTIRE area of onsens in Kurokawa onsens. The so-called bus stop that’s 2 minutes away from the lodging is...
