"Fabulous experience staying in the jungle. Accommodation basic but lying in bed listening to howler monkeys / frogs can't be beaten. Staff extremely helpful and the breakfast banana pancakes when we arrived via water taxi were amazing. Lots of places to sit out in the breeze looking at the river boats and bird watch "

"The rain was particularly heavy when we checked in and the room we booked had a small leak, so we had a downstairs river view for the first night. This first room, though large with AC, just felt dark (the windows were looking onto the lower terrace so you felt you had to shut the curtains). The shower also would not get warm. However, for the second night we were moved into an upstairs river view room, and what a difference! It was so light and airy feeling - again with AC and great space....

"The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. "Very nice owners and the cabin was super clean and well equipped. The double bed is not very big, but it is comfortable. The entrance is from the main street and is a bit steep, but a 4x4 is not required, we drove the way up with a sedan. During the day, you can hear the trucks drive by on the main road, but at night it is mostly quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing!"

"Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy a stay at the Casa Grande. There is no road to the place, i.e. they have to pick you up by boat. I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. If you can book this place in the morning for the evening, the resort must respond, otherwise...
