"Was greeted on arrival with bottles of water and chocolates - very nice. Our room was large, comfortable and with floor to ceiling windows at the rear where we could view the countryside from some very comfortable arm chairs. Bedding was spotless. Free netflix provided. "

"The motel is located next to the state highway, convenient to access, to 15 minutes from the Waitomo caves. The host, Margeret is very friendly and helpful. She provided milk when we checked-in, and also offered to dry our wet cloth that we got from the previous activity. Although the facility is not the newest but it's very clean and convenient. I am happy that we stayed there for the night."

"Nice clean and tidy self-contained unit. Pleased with accommodation. Pity it was hard to find where to check in. Good signage would solve this. Planting some low maintenance native plants (pongas and using limeston rock features) near the front without costing a fortune would be a lovely addition to the name. Would stay again."

"Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee.
