"This is a cute, newly renovated house in a great location near new river gorge National park with lots of amenities. We loved the hot tub and the game room in the basement. The house could have been cleaner, we had a few cleanliness issues including finding dirty dishes in the cabinet. "

I found this listing and thought the kids would enjoy visiting such a beautiful, old cabin for a new experience. The cabin was warm and cozy with so much character, we spent plenty of time enjoying and discussing the art on the walls and the artifacts on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. We had plenty of space and all amenities needed...

The shower water pressure and heat temperature was amazing in the main bathroom. The kitchen and all of the appliances were awesome. My kids had fun playing the games. "We had a great time as a family! The outdoor space was great for the kids. The location is close enough to multiple towns and things to do. Everything inside the house was exactly what we needed with many added touches that were special - smores supplies, for example. The only issue we had was trying to stream anything on the TVs...internet kept cutting out. Not a big deal because we weren't there to watch TV, but something to note. "
